Watch Secret Sex Tape of Marilyn Monroe Which Was Sold To N.Y. Businessman For 1.5 Million Dollar.
A copy of a long-secret sex tape featuring Marilyn Monroe has been sold for $1.5 million (£750,000), according to the New York Post.
The 15 minute, 16mm film was reportedly shot in the 1950s and is said to show the blonde sex symbol engaged in oral sex with a unidentified man.
The footage was bought by a New York businessman who plans to keep it locked up, Keya Morgan, the memorabilia collector who discovered the film and brokered its sale, told the newspaper. The original film is reportedly still classified and held by the FBI.
The New York Post described the sold version as “an illicit copy” of the silent black-and-white footage which is said to show Monroe on her knees in front of a man whose face is cut out of the shot.
Mr Morgan told the paper that, according to declassified agency documents, when the footage came to light in the mid-60s, FBI director J Edgar Hoover instructed his agents to try to prove that the man in the film was John F. Kennedy or Robert F. Kennedy.
The collector, who has seen the footage, said the man’s face is never shown and Monroe does not look at the camera. Mr Morgan said he found the film while researching a documentary on Monroe after learning of its existence from a former FBI agent who told him about a confidential informant who originally alerted the FBI to the footage. The original recording was eventually confiscated by the FBI but not before the informant had made a copy. Mr Morgan said after being tipped off by the former FBI agent, he tracked down the informant’s son in Washington, DC, and the man retrieved a film canister from a safe-deposit box.
The copy was just sold last month. Declassified FBI documents from the 1960s mention a “French-type” film starring the late actress, who died in 1962 from an overdose of prescription drugs.
Mr Morgan told the New York Post that the papers state the informant “exhibited (to agents) a motion picture which depicted deceased actress Marilyn Monroe committing a perverted act upon a unknown male”.
The paper reports the documents also assert that “former baseball star Joseph DiMaggio in the past had offered (the informant) 25,000 dollars for this film, it being the only one in existence, but he refused the offer.” “You see instantly that it’s Marilyn Monroe – she has the famous mole,” Mr Morgan told the paper.
“She’s smiling, she’s very charming, she’s very radiant, but she’s known for being radiant,” he said. “She moves away, and then it (the footage) stops.”
Mr Morgan brokered its sale to a wealthy New York businessman who told the dealer he planned “to lock it up”. “He said, ‘I’m not going to make a Paris Hilton out of her. I’m not going to sell it, out of respect,'” Mr Morgan told the paper.Read More
